    Bonnie’s Character

In this movie, Bonnie plays a bigger role as Ginny has become the love interest of Harry Potter. In contrast to the book, the relationship between Harry and Ginny in the movie is more subtle and they don’t become a couple so they don’t break up at the end of the term. In the movie, the kiss setting is also different, moving from the Gryffindor Common Room full of people to the empty Room of Requirement. Ginny helps Harry hide the Potions Book after Harry uses Sectusempra against Draco Malfoy and she kisses him before going away to hide the book.

In this movie, we see a more subtle Ginny, but with glimpses of the fiesty Ginny we see in the book, like shutting the Quiddicth hopefuls when they weren’t paying attention to Harry.

    Quotes

    From the trailers:
    Take my hand. (to Harry)
    Close your eyes. (to Harry)
